Android core development tools: Instructions for Windows 7

First things first, developing Android applications requires several development tools or (SDKs – software development kits)
These are tools relevant in April 2013 using a Windows 7 platform.
- Java 7 SDK. Java is at the core of anything you need to do, so the complete Standard SDK is required.
- The Eclipse IDE is the preferred development tool in Windows 7
- The Google ADT plug-in for eclipse is required for developing using a GUI interface
